Cool place, local joint. The folks that run it care about the food they serve. I've been several times, never been disappointed. Home cooking, good specials.

Wasn't good to me.. the gravy was good but I expected way better food for a diner in the middle of nowhere Chittenoga New York. Reply to owner: You were voted best in your city because your the only diner.... Let's be honest! Ive had better at bigger places. When people stop in a small town they expect to be blown away by the food and that didn't happen. If you know your great, why get bothered about this one review???

Nice country diner, very friendly staff, clean. The burgers were huge and delicious! I had onion petals or straws, which were slightly over done, but still tasty with a good spicy sauce. Definitely going back! There are many items on the menu that sound so good. Going to get some of our biker friends and ride to the falls and eat here.

Breakfast was delicious!! Waffle Benny!! Ham and cheese inside of the waffle then a layer of spinach, sunny side up eggs, topped with hollandaise sauce! Was the best Benny I’ve ever had!!

Food was good but the waitress was clueless and we waited an hour for our menus, 30 minutes more for drinks, and another hour for our food that we almost left. Only saving grace was that she just gave us the food for free. Nice people but absolutely clueless. Wont come back.

Their breakfast is DEEELICIOUS !🤩 their menu has something for everyone. That hollandaise sauce is spot on. Great portion size. Coffee is strong , not water downed like most places. My only disappointment was that I couldn't try more breakfast items. Glad I live close by, their menu is my new bucket list. Great job folks !

Wowza, my family went here for dinner. Food was amazing. Don't be in a hurry it's a diner. Great tasting food takes time to perform.. YUMMMMM

The Bohemian is the best sandwich I’ve ever had, and the CBD desserts. Yes! great staff! Highly recommend

Stopped by the Hamlet early Sunday morning on my way through town and really didn’t know what to expect. The food was delicious and the staff was incredible! I branched away from my usual breakfast order of eggs and bacon and decided to give the Oreo Overload Pancakes when my server (brown haired woman, either Nikki or Nicole. I’m sorry I can’t remember) recommended them and they did not disappoint! The server seemed very aware of what was going on during the busy time and did a great job keeping up with the crowd and making sure all the tables were enjoying their meals as well as having the water and coffee cups full. Big complements to whoever made the pancakes and excellent work to the lovely server. Hopefully I find my way out there again soon!

Stopped here for lunch on our way through town. Was pretty busy for a Friday. Ordered the fish fry special and a wedge salad. Food was decent. Service is a bit slow. Bathroom and table were not as clean as they could be.

Dinner was AMAZING, we suprised them after a phone call with 10 people and they killed it. Food was quick waitress was nice, and the regulars were very nice as well. The cook even came out to our table to see how our food was. And it was FANTASTIC!

First experience was great. 2nd experience, on a friday at lunch was extremely poor. Quite a wait just to get menus. Waitress was rude. Never came back to see of we needed or wanted anything else and we were trying to order dessert. We had to go up and ask for the check and she didn't even say goodbye. There were only 2 other tables there so it was not busy. I think I'll be staying away at this point. I was really impressed my first visit but this one was just awful and makes me not want to risk experiencing it again.

Hole-in-the-wall diner next to an ice cream stand. Good breakfast, though, and very attentive wait staff. Very reasonable prices.

I was surprised to see how much the hamlet has changed! The atmosphere, the menu, AND the food! I had some blueberry jam special burger and it was amazing! Also thank you for honoring law enforcement. I would never expect a meal half off just because I was in uniform, but it was very much appreciated ☺️

Plain Ole Eggs Benny! ! Absolutely delicious! Prices and menu are right in line with each other! Everything made from scratch! Friendly, knowledgeable smiling servers!

CBd oil cupcakes? Awesome! We stopped in for a treat, and was pleasantly surprised by the young owners and music playing. Ice cream was served, and it was very quaint. I will be trying out the special baked goods next time I'm in the area, great idea!

We went in and sat ourselves.It wasn’t busy(8-10 tables)...10-15 minutes & no menu or greeting at all.AWFUL. It was this morning-very frustrated & very hungry.I know it’s not your fault-people came in behind us and got menus & we got nothing.

Placed had great food, friendly and personable staff, and little things for the kids to do to occupy them until the food came. Service was quick. Will definitely be going here more often.

Food was great and they didn't charge you for an extra plate

It was around 7 and we wanted to order dinner from the Hamlet but the phones were not working. Since I knew Dawn personally I texted her to see if they were open and she said that they were but the phones were out. She went above and beyond to have one of her waitresses call me so that we could place our order! The food was amazing!!

When I first ordered a few fish dinners from here , it was completely wrong , however the owner was very understanding and made it right , stopped by for breakfast this past week and I was amazed at how awesome it was , the staff was amazing and very knowledgeable and friendly , I had the chance to get one of the newbies and she was just as awesome as the food ! Not one thing was wrong ! I definitely will be back in the future since I found out that mistakes will be made but it's corrected very quickly and efficiently ! Enjoyed the friendly conversation with the staff and it was very very clean ! Amazing turn around since the first time I was here ! Highly recommend the breakfast and the great people who are employed here ! I will return soon !!!

I ordered a brownie sundae, which was fine, aside from the fact I was unable to eat it. The spoon I was given was absolutely insufficient in scooping the sundae. Ive felt earthworms that are stiffer than these spoons.

The area was clean and cozy, I was expecting more of a CBD baked goods selection.

Wonderful little diner. My breakfast was delicious. Been searching for a place that made real Southern Fried Steak. Other places try to tell me Southern fried steak is made with chicken or pork! Not right! Steak is beef! Was happy to finally find a place! Next time will have the eggs benedict florentine. It looked super yummy!

Quaint little diner in the heart of Chittenango! We were visiting friends from ATL and this place came highly recommended.It did not disappoint!I had the Pot of Gold Benedict and my husband had the regular Benedict (they are apparently known for their hollandaise), and then we shared a Reese's pancake.It was great!Locals abounded and were friendly.

Excellent quality homemade food. Comfortable cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff. Will definitely be a returning customer.

The service with Karen was awesome! It was fish fry Friday and let me tell you. It was like the best I ever had. It wasn't greasy and the fish was so white, and fresh. The cook made it beautifully. I would give it more Stars if I could. Will go there again

I had ordered a bowl of soup their hamburger soup which had a large layer of oil on the top and couldn't eat it. If you go there order just regular hamburger or nachos they looked absolutely fabulous.

Good food , service and prices

We eat here on a regular basis. We like it a lot! Good food and you can get in and get out quick. Owners are very friendly. Give them a try, you'll be glad you did.
